Organized by Rimini Fiera and Dismamusica, the ninth edition of Disma Music Show has established itself as the world'sthird largest expo in terms of visitor attendance figures. Dismamusica's chairman, Antonio Monzino jr. says,"This expo is the reference point for all the Italian market's various sectors - professional, amateur and commercial. It is the only event that ensures an irreplaceable showcase, offering the most comprehensive overview of new products."
There will be approximately 400 companies exhibiting at Disma Music Show 2005 occupying seven halls. One hall is dedicated to acoustic instruments (acoustic, classic and folk guitars, percussion instruments and ethnic percussion, ethnic instruments, wind instruments, string instruments, accordions, pianos and instruments for basic teaching). Three halls feature the electric and electronic sector (electronic musical instruments, keyboards, synthesizers, organs, digital pianos, amplification for instruments and vocals/speech, music software). The expo area will also host music publications and sheet music, accessories, hardware, parts and components, repair and tuning equipment, raw material for making acoustic instruments, furnishings and fittings for stores, services and rental firms, record companies, music schools and specialist/trade press.
Another hall will host the large live stage, offering a non-stop series of performances by top artists, talented demonstrators and new talent. Two of the expo's side events will be held in the two remaining halls: Scuola Musicafestival (now at its fifth edition) and Band & Folk. |
