| Musikmesse and prolight+sound 2006 in Frankfurt once more proved their reputation as the largest trade fairs of the industry. In the prolight+sound area Hall 8 was fully booked. At Musikmesse in Frankfurt an additional hall 4.2 was opened to cater for the numerous exhibitor requests for more exhibition space. "Renowned exhibitors, such as Warwick, Paul Reed Smith and Gibson, who used to be in Hall 4.0, have been asking for additional space for a long time", says Cordelia von Gymnich, Vice President Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH.
