A dedicated business to business exhibition, Dubai-Musica is held in September 2006 for the second time in the United Arab Emirates where more than 90% of the Arabic music industry in the Middle East and North Africa regions is based. The event brings together international musical instruments and correlated industries' manufacturers with their hosted regional buyers and distributors.
While several similar events cover international market areas such as USA, Europe and Asia, the organizers of the Dubai-Music expo aim to introduce the latest developments and technologies of this unique industry in the Middle East Area for the first time.
1st Dubai Musica 2005
His Highness Sheikh Hashr Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, Chairman of Department of Information, graced the opening ceremony of the 1st Dubai International Musical Instruments Exhibition as Chief Guest in Dubai World Trade Centre on May 28, 2005. Conducted by Maestro Dr. Ahmed Al Refai, the UAE Ministry of Education's Central Orchestra Symphony band had been invited to perform for an audience of sixty exhibitors representing highly acknowledged international brand names in the musical instruments and related industries fields plus over one thousand visitors at its early hours.
