Electro-Voice ZX4 speakers with polypropylene enclosures

Based on the successful ZX4 technology, Electro-Voice unveiled the ZX4 15-inch two-way loudspeaker at winter Namm 2005, the latest in EV's successful series of loudspeakers in polypropylene enclosures. The styling of the ZX4 is based on that of the successful ZX5. Equipped with the tried-and-tested DH3 high frequency driver and 90° x 50° Constant Directivity horn and the new EVS15SF woofer, the ZX4 achieves continuous power handling of 400W (1600W peak) as well as sensitivity of 100 dB/1W/1m with a peak SPL of 132dB.
The ZX4 was designed as both a front and a monitor loudspeaker, having both an integral pole mount and integrated monitor feet that allow you to vary the angle of tilt from 45° to 55° to suit stages of varying depths. The ZX4 delivers impressive sound pressure levels whilst at the same time being extremely light (20 kg) and highly efficient. It also represents exceptional value for money, making the ZX4 the ideal tool for the ambitious musician.
