K.M.E. DAP 26 Digital Audio Processor

Unveiled at ProLight + Sound 2004, Frankfurt, Germany, K.M.E. showcases the DAP 26 at Plasa, London, stand N49. The DAP 26 is a high performance 2-in-6-out sound system controller with a multitude of configurations (2-way stereo, 3-way stereo, 6-way mono). Variable signal routing output is suitable for matrix and zone configurations.
Using the AES/EBU connections, DAP 26s can create a larger number of processed outputs from one pair of analogue inputs. Any DAP 26 configuration can be operated in real time using the navigation pad on the unit or the "K.M.E. Control-Center" software. The "K.M.E. Control-Center" software gives access to all parameters of the controller using a Windows PC. The accurate signal processing algorithms combined with with AKM AD/DA converters using a sampling rate of 96 kHz (24 bit) provide high standard output.
Further features include master delays up to 2 seconds and channel delays up to 500 ms, 5 parametric equalizers per input and output channel, crossover filters up to 8th order (Butterworth, Bessel, Linkwitz-Riley), hard-/softknee limiter, compressor with variable ratio-/release time as well as a noisegate.
