Phonak launches the world's first in-ear receiver/monitor

Phonak Communications, a subsidiary of Swiss Phonak Holding AG, has been specializing in the development, design, production and distribution of ultra miniaturized wireless systems since 1992. Launched in September 2005, Phonak Communications announces the world's only in-ear RF receiver, invisity. Also, Phonak Communications is expanding its distribution network with the addition of a global Studio/Stage sales channel. The invisity range includes three systems to suit different applications. The invisity 4 system comprises one in-ear RF receiver and a waterproof remote control in key-ring format offering a choice of four different channels. New software (Version 1.1) covering various functions including the programming of the remote control, is now available for this system. The invisity Flex system offers one reprogrammable channel while the the invisity Fix has one fixed frequency channel in the Phonak standard configuration. Each invisity RF receiver can cover a 7MHz range within VHF (narrow band). Despite the extremely compact construction of the near-invisible receivers that follow the contours of the inner ear for increased comfort and performance, all three invisity systems deliver high audio quality. Phonak's unique synthesizer technology is used to enhance the flexibility and acoustic performance of the systems, allowing them to be configured to match the requirements of specific operational situations. invisity aims at image-conscious professionals demanding virtually invisibleand reliable voice prompting solutions which will enhance their freedom and creativity.
