TGX-939 true condenser live vocal microphone by beyerdynamic

Launched at PLASA 2007, London, and IBC 2007, Amsterdam, beyerdynamic's TG-X-930 will have its German debut at prolight + sound 2008, Frankfurt, Hall 4.1 D51. The TGX-930 is a designed to set a new benchmark for live vocal condenser microphones. Due to the typically small pick-up distance with vocal microphones, the proximity effect of the cardioid capsule was compensated to achieve neutral transmission of even the subtlest vocal nuances. Using the capsule of the MC 930 true condenser microphone, the maximum sound pressure level is 150 dB SPL Combined with a low internal noise level the TG-X 930 offers an extremely high dynamic range. beyerdynamic also added a slight treble boost to ensure an open and detailed sound without ever being obtrusive.
Providing protection against pop sounds, the TG-X-930 uses the well proven stainless steel basket with multilayer gauze and additional inner basket already used with the interchangeable microphone capsules of the Opus 900 wireless series. Easy to clean, this basket also significantly improves rear-attenuation and hence feedback suppression.
Through the internal structure of the transducer system the microphone is largely insensitive to the moisture problem encountered with vocal mics. The turned brass housing of the TG-X 930 comes in either matte black or a satin nickelplated finish to suit the given stage situation.
