Throughout
the music industry, Yorkville Sound is known for consistently introducing
products that redefine a price-point and turn the pro-audio market up on
it's end. The company continually receives letters and email from end users
praising the affordability of such high-quality pro-audio gear. And this
year, Yorkville Sound has introduced their biggest power amp to date.
The 4000 watt AP6040 power amp requires three rack spaces and features
low noise, ample headroom, and a street price under US$ 1700.00. The AP6040
includes a power of 2 x 2000 Watts at 4 Ohms, a total harmonic distortion
lower than 0.1%, defeatable limiter and high pass filter, ultra quiet internal
cooling fans and filters as well as a toroidal power transformer.
