Carlsbro Electronics launche five new amplifiers at the Winter NAMM show 2004 in Anaheim. These include extending the NuTone range for high gain, detuned and 7 string players, and a range of no-compromise valve amps including an authentic re-issue of the legendary 50 Top. Carlsbro's newest range of All-Valve British Guitar amplifiers were inspired by the revered and much loved 50 Top, made over 30 years ago. The 50 Top Evolution features a 50W valve amplifier (8 or 16 Ohms), clean and a overdrive channel with gain boost, parallel FX-loop, automatic muting when no input. Typical features of a tube amp are an external switch for Pentode (50W) or Triode (25W) mode, external bias measurement and adjustment are typical as well as a stand-by switch. The 50 Top Evolution operates on 115 and 230 Volts and complements 4xECC83 and 2xEL34 with porcelain valve base. The 59 Spirit Combo features a 50W hand wired valve amplifier, Accutronics reverb spring and 12" Celestion 'Classic Lead' loudspeaker. Amplifier specs are the same as for the 50Top, which is hand wired and complements 4xECC83 and 2xEL34. It offers a passive 3-band EQ, stand-by and power switches, 115/230 V mains operation, Hi and Lo sensitivity jack inputs and more. Carlsbro's Nu Tone amp is now available in combo format. The Nu Tones' characteristic massive gain, unbelievable bass and skullcrushing volume are all there, including versatile control with a 5 band EQ. The NuTone combo provides twin foot switchable channels (dual mode on channel 1), independent channel equalizers, dual footswitchable master volumes, reverb, variable mix FX-loop, 150W RMS uutput (250W with 8 ohm extension), acoustically optimised cabinet design, heavy duty steel bar handles and custom punched steel grille. The 212 (pictured right below) is fitted with castors.
