Fishman highlights Triple Play Wireless guitar controller at Musikmesse Frankfurt
Performers can use Triple Play to combine their guitar with any virtual instrument or hardware synthesizer to access a wide range of instruments, samples and sounds on stage so they can expand the depth and impact of live performances.
Now coming with an extended software bundle, Fishman takes its Triple Play Wireless guitar controller to Musikmesse
2013 in Frankfurt, Germany, Hall 3.1E68 and Hall 4.0F62, following a another successful presentation at Winter NAMM
2013. Unveiled at Winter NAMM
2012 in Anaheim, California, hourly demonstrations by guitarist Burr Johnson drew large crowds of attendees, artists and media to the Fishman exhibit eager to experience the wireless composing, performance and recording system. Triple Play’s slim and intuitive form factor is designed to allow fast, easy setup so that guitarists can quickly have an unlimited palette of instruments and sounds at their fingertips, all with the freedom of wireless control.
|An easy way to integrate a guitar with a DAW running on a PC, Mac or iOS, Triple Play quickly and easily becomes a music recording and production tool. The software package coming with Triple Play comprises full versions of Native Instruments – Kontakt Elements and GuitarRig LE; Notion Music – Progression; IK Multimedia – SampleTank 2 XT and AmpliTube Custom Shop; and PreSonus – Studio One Artist TriplePlay Edition.|
Triple Play comes with a Wireless Controller, Hexaphonic Pickup, and wireless USB receiver. The Controller and included software installs quickly on any electric guitar. The system can be easily removed from the guitar because it doesn’t require any permanent installation.
The Triple Play system features several “hold” functions such as sustain, looping, and arpeggiators, along with string or fret splits for multiple instruments. Also included are Menu navigation controls for the included software and a guitar synthesizer volume control. A 'Guitar, Mix, Synth' switch is easily accessible during performances. A low profile design (less than .5”) allows the controller to be left on the guitar and still fit in the case. It operates with a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery (included).
A Triple Play Wireless Guitar Expander option provides additional connectivity for interfacing wireless MIDI signals to computers or iOS devices. It adds a full function USB audio interface with guitar input, bypass and headphone output, MIDI hardware IN and OUT and support for footswitches to greatly extend Triple Play’s capabilities for recording, performing or composing music.
At Musikmesse 2012, Triple Play wireless controller made its European show debut. It was also highlighted at Fishman's exhibit during Summer NAMM 2012 in Nashville, TN.
