Solton Ketron X1
The
new Solton KetronX1 is now shipping since Musikmesse Frankfurt. Accompaniment
styles whose drum and percussion lines have been sampled from musician's
performances including their accents giving a distinctive and unique character
to the arrangements. The pitch of the percussion and drum loops does not
change at all, even through tempo changes from 40 to 250 bpm. 16 Mbyte
PCM data deliver high quality natural sounds such as a completely new selection
of orchestral voices, pianos, brass, guitars, vocals or accordeons plus
the state-of-the-art solo voices including brass and woodwind instruments.
ROM or flash memory cards supply up to 8 MByte instantly accessable
sounds and grooves in addition to the internal sound generating system.
It is even possible to upload 4 or 8 MByte of data from the harddisk (if
installed) to a flash card. The keyboard's operating system can be easily
upgraded from floppy disk.
Further features are 64 notes polyphony, 32 parts multitimbral, up
to four voices stackable, additive organ synthesis with click and percussion,
two independent digital sound processors, microphone input with echo and
reverb, displayable lyrics for karaoke functions while playing MIDI files,
a 16 track sequencer with a capacity of up to 300,000 notes, analogue waveforms
and more.
The weighted keyboard action along with versatile controls and a large
display make the KetronX1 suitable for different musical styles and performing
situations.
