Clavia introduces the ddrum4 Mega Drumkits sound library to their ddrum4 electronic drum system. The ddrum4 Mega Drumkits include completely new multi-sampled sounds. The new ddrum4 sounds are carefully built up by a vast number of samples to catch every nuance from an acoustic drum. Whether it's a snare drum sound or tom tom sound, each instrument will give you what you need throughout the whole dynamic range.The ddrum4 Mega Drumkits are designed for drummers that appreciate a more acoustic feel from the ddrum4 drum system. The ddrum4 Mega Drumkits are available for download to all ddrum4 users free of charge.
Clavia introduces V1.40 of the ddrum4 software with trig detection algorithms for mesh heads. Because of the new types of silent drumheads that are coming into the market, Clavia have upgraded the software for their ddrum4 sound module. Thanks to the new features in the ddrum4 V1.40 the use of mesh heads together with ddrum4 and Clavia's patented triggers, ddrum Acoustic Triggers or the low-cost ddrum Red Shot Triggers allows drummers to obtain maximum playing comfort without any acoustic sound yet with a perfect digital drumsound in his/her monitor/headphones. The new types of mesh heads transform an acoustic drum kit into a silent practice kit. Together with the surpreme ddrum Triggers and the ddrum4 sound module, the drummer will have instant access to top-quality studio recorded drum sounds. Mesh heads are available today from various manufacturers.
The ddrum4 system is built around the ddrum4 sound module and can be controlled from ddrum4 Cast Precision Pads, ddrum4 Cast Cymbal and Cast Hi-hat pads and ddrum triggers.
