| The MicroMeek MQ1 by JoeMeek is a product for the
home/semi professional computer recording market. The 'Drive Bay'
Meek provides a single quality recording channel from inside a PC or
MAC computer. Designed as a cost effective, and superior option to
using an external mixing desk for gaining mic pre amplification and
phantom power, the MicroMeek even generates full 48V phantom from the
PC's own power supply. The purpose of the product is to bring the
quality of entry level recording to a professional level including EQ
and compression. The MQ1 enters a new level of presentation for JoeMeek. Being a computer product the paper manual was removed, replacing it with a CD-ROM. The company has used the new concept as an opportunity to bundle key software products from Sonic Foundry, CakeWalk, and Microsoft. |
