Behringer introduces microphone modeling preamp

At winter NAMM 2004 Behringer announced the launch of the Tube Ultragain MIC200, second in a series of high quality vacuum tube preamplifiers for studio, live and hard disk recording.
Each Tube Ultragain MIC200 is sports a selected 12AX7 vacuum tube with UTC technology for warmth, low noise and signal integrity. In addition, the Tube Ultragain MIC200 features flexible preamp modeling technology that gives the user a coice of 16 preamp voicings. The MIC200 complements studio-grade condenser mics and can also be used as a DI-box for achieving outstanding signal transparency.
The Tube Ultragain MIC200 features Behringer's sophisticated output limiter that prevents signal distortion, while a dedicated low cut filter eliminates unwanted noise such as floor rumble. Further features include phase reverse function, +48 V phantom power supply, 8-segment LED level meter, 20 dB pad function, balanced inputs and outputs on ¼" TRS and gold-plated XLR connectors.
This microphone preamp can be used as a preamp for instruments ranging from electric and bass guitars to keyboards and percussion. The Tube Ultragain MIC200 is designed in Germany and manufactured under the ISO9000 certified management system.
Tube Ultragain MIC200 s expected to ship in the second quarter of 2004.
