Prolifts to introduce two more line array lifts at pl+s 2012 in Frankfurt

Prolifts have released two new VMB TL-A line array lifts which will be presented at Prolight + Sound 2012 in Frankfurt. Introducing the TL-A150 and TL-A300, the Spanish company now offers five different solutions for lifting line arrays and has taken its portfolio of lifts to a total of 17 different models.
The TL-A150 lifts 150kg (331 lbs) to a height of 5.3m (17.4’) whilst the TL-A300 lifts 300kg (662lbs) up to 5.8m (19’). Both lifts maintain compact features with the TL-A300 boasting a stowed height of just 1.58m. It includes the ALS (Auto Lock Security) system, a safety feature which automatically locks the lift masts as they rise. The two new lifts also feature the new SRS (Sequence Retianer System) which lets the the sections of the lift rise and descend successively.
The masts are manufactured of aluminium to keep the weight as low as possible. Steel outriggers and base as well as lateral support bars add further safety and stability to the lift. The special design allows a line array to be loaded at half a meter from the lift’s main body enabling the array to be curved in order to achieve a desired coverage angle. The Spanish manufacturer claims that a line array can be rigged up and lifted in less than 15 minutes.
