Bestec Audio appointed Dolby Lake distributor in Japan

Bestec Audio, headquartered in Tokyo with a branch office in Osaka, is the exclusive distributor of Dolby Laboratories' digital loudspeaker products in Japan. Bestec specializes in the import and sale of professional audio equipment for the live touring and installed sound markets. As one of the top pro audio distributors in Japan, Bestec Audio has performed major sound equipment installations at the Hyogo Performing Arts Center; Shibuya-AX, a popular music venue; and the Kawagoe Citizen Hall.
Since their appointment, Bestec Audio has already added Treasure Island Corp., Delta Onkyo and Kentech, among others, to the list of Lake Contour and Mesa Quad EQ clients in Japan. Lake processors are also used regularly by Shiki Theatre Company, a famous musical and play production company in Japan, as well as a number of PA rental companies, including ARTE, Hibino Corporation, SeptOne, Tokyo Sanko, and Two Mix.
"Bestec Audio has an excellent reputation throughout the Japanese live sound industry for their technical knowledge and integrity," said Craig Lovell, Asia Pacific Live Sound Sales Manager, Dolby Laboratories. "As a result, Bestec Audio's Lake Contour and Lake Mesa Quad EQ demonstrations have been very well received throughout Japan. We are now also building upon this success with the recent release of the ground-breaking Dolby Lake Processor. We very much look forward to developing a closer relationship with Bestec Audio, whereby we can help provide the Japanese live sound industry with the unique and cutting-edge solutions that are so often sought."
"We have dealt with high class products in the Japanese pro audio industry for nearly 20 years," stated Bestec Audio president Kunio Suzuki. "And now it is our honor to promote and sell the highly respected Dolby Lake digital products as the Japanese distributor. We feel it is our duty to let as many people as possible experience the power of these speaker/system processors. We'll also act as a liaison between Dolby Lake and Japanese users so that Dolby Laboratories can continue to evolve it's live sound products and technologies to meet the needs of its consumers."
