At LDI 2003 Swedish manufacturer Beacon annonunced the Black Line gobo series. Beacon Black Line gobos are glass gobos with one side coated black to eliminate halos and reflections of the image when projecting.
Black Line gobos come mounted in a black anodized aluminum ring covering the align marks and also protecting against mechanical stress. The new gobo line will be manufactured in eight basic glass sizes. 19 different sizes of mounting rings provide additional flexibility.
"It's probably the technically most advanced gobo on the market", says Jim Douglas, Managing Director for Gobo Group member Projected Image UK Ltd.
"After months of research and thoroughful testing we are very proud to present this product line, which we believe will meet the highest quality demands", says Micke Tannemyr, founder and CEO of Beacon AB.
Beacon Black Line gobos will be available from Gobo Group members before the end of the year 2002.
