Clay Paky launches fully functional, small Alpha luminaires

After the launch at PLASA 07, Clay Paky takes its three new small moving body projectors for professional lighting applications to prolight+sound 2008. Offering the features of all of the Alpha Series, the luminaires comprise the Alpha Spot HPE 300 and Alpha Spot 300 effects projectors, and the Alpha Wash 300 washlight.
These new 300 Watt models are stunning for brightness, graphic variety, optical system and performance, often also allowing to replace larger sized projectors in professional applications. The very limited size and weight make these luminaires an economical solution for any professional sector – from the Theatre to Television, from Corporate Events to Clubs, as well as for small Rental Companies.
Compact, light, silent, easy to install and extremely bright, with superior graphic and optical performances, the Alpha Spot HPE 300 is fully operational spotlight featuring wide Zoom, CMY, 8+1 Colour Wheel, 15 gobos (of which 8 rotating), Rotating Prism, Linear Frost, Smooth Frost, 0-100% Dimmer on dedicated channel, iris and stop/strobe.
Providing the same optical and constructional qualities as the Alpha Spot HPE 300, the Alpha Spot 300 is suitable for the most essential applications with limited budgets. It is fitted with two 8+1 colour wheels, 15 gobos (of which 8 rotating), Rotating Prism, 0-100% Dimmer on dedicated channel and stop/strobe. Optionally, a version with electronic ballast is available.
A compact, light and very silent washlight that is easy to install and extremely bright, the Alpha Wash 300 offers a CMY system and 8+1 colour wheel to provide any required colour at the highes possible quality. Two levels of frost on dedicated channels provide diffusion of the colour in a linear and uniform way, even from short distances, permitting its universal use in the most demanding professional sectors. A 0-100% Dimmer on dedicated channel and stop/strobe effect complete the effects section. Optionally, a version with electronic ballast is available.
