Zero88 to launch Jester ML48 at prolight+sound show 2008

Following the launch of the next generation of Jester lighting desks at PLASA 2007, Zero 88 announces the biggest addition to the line so far, the ML48 which will be highlighted at prolight+sound show 2008, Hall 9 E53, Frankfurt. In Frankfurt Zero88 also will showcase a wireless DMX solution, a Leap frog software upgrade, and more.
Offering all the features found in the existing Jesters consoles (monitor support, USB storage and easy patching) the new Jester ML consoles also provide the tools needed to work effectively with moving lights, palettes, effects engines and a full fixture library. There will be two versions of consoles available, the Jester ML24 offers users control of up to 20 intelligent lights and 24 generics. Shows can either be recorded as a theatrical cue stack or by using 24 submasters.
The Jester ML offers users the ability to work with 20 moving lights and record these onto a cue stack if used as a stand alone console. Using the ‘DMX In’ it is also possible to link the Jester ML to existing Jester lighting desks giving users the option of adding moving lights to existing products.
Zero88 Jester ML
Leap Frog Version 3 software brings an extensive update to the Leap Frog range. Consoles will benefit from WYSIWYG and Capture visualisation support plus a flexible Wireless PDA Remote. In addition, on the Leap Frogs submasters can now be used to replicate the Cue stack, with the flash buttons being used to step through the Cue list. A key new feature is the bidirectional communication with the Zero 88 Light Converse visualisation software, where it is possible to create position palettes simply by clicking on an item within the visualisation package. Other features include the addition of a command line allowing users to use traditional theatrical syntax for programming, a new ‘Smart Tagging’ mode which offers users the benefits of tracking but with the desk handling all the tagging and selecting of fixtures during recording and a full suite of remote triggers.
Zero Wire DMX is a professional compact system for the wireless transmission of DMX data. The system is based on the 2.4 GHz W-LAN platform and provides reliable DMX control of moving lights, dimmers and LED lights, without the use of DMX cables. The individual Zero Wire DMX modules can be used as transmitters or receivers. Configuration is simple via enlosed PC software. Multiple receivers can communicate with an individual transmitter, enabling creation of larger systems. The Zero Wire DMX system is also available in a package including a Wireless Access Point (WAP). These can be pre - configured, offering a total Plug and Play system. Any commercial WAPs can be used with the Zero Wire DMX modules.
LightFactory is a unique PC based lighting control system. Zero 88 is the exclusive European distributor for the LightFactory range, and offers software packages from 1 to 64 universes of DMX. An easily accessed command line interface enables the control of dimmer channels and moving lights, screen layouts can all be customised to suit the user and LightFactory features 5 effects engines offering almost limitless creation of effects. The latest software version includes an LED matrix which allows for incredibly fast programming of sophisticated LED effects , tracking backup and a new theatre style Output Window. This adds to the existing host of features such as multiple cue stacks, shortcut pages and an extensive fixture control model based on real world values. LightFactory is compatible with WYSIWYG and Capture visualisation packages, supports DMX via Ethernet and direct communication with Zero 88’s wireless DMX system.
The ChilliNet Master Touch screen is an inexpensive system for programming and monitoring of networked Chilli dimmer and control panels. The Master Touch Screen simplifies the configuration of all the individual system components. Dimmer curves, zones, lighting effects, sequences and set-up menus can be programmed clearly on the colour touch screen. A fully automatic configuration of the individual dimmer systems in a network is also possible. Network system components are summarized with type data and zone assignment.
