Lighthouse's R6-B black faced LED panel starring at ISE 2009

Stand 11K43 sees LED screen manufacturer Lighthouse Technologies once again showing its state-of-the-art products at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE). In 2009, the star of the show will be the R6-B black-faced LED panel. Since its launch at ISE 2008, the R6-B 6mm pixel pitch LED panel has brought a new dimension to the picture quality of Lighthouse LED screens.
By combining a superfine resolution with Lighthouse’s 3-in-1 black-faced Surface-Mount Device (SMD) LED, a much better contrast level and visual performance have been achieved. The lightweight and slim casing design makes these panels ideal for rental applications and they can also be easily installed and integrated, thus providing the best possible return on investment for customers.
The black casing of the SMD provides a truer black level within the displayed image and a contrast ratio of 3800:1. The panels are able to run at lower temperatures and therefore consume less power.
Each panel has 2000 nits of brightness, enabling it to cope well with ambient light levels, a horizontal viewing angle of 140 (+70/-70), vertical viewing angle of 90 (+40/-50) and employ the single king pin for fast rigging making them ideal for the indoor rental, exhibition and conference markets.
The series also includes the superfine resolution R4-B rental panel and P4-B and P6-B permanent installation panels, which are ideal for applications such as branded retail outlets where low noise levels and a high contrast ratio - allowing extremely detailed content, or that using dark colours to be shown to full effect – are required.
“As a technology company, Lighthouse is always looking to the horizon, anticipating and creating future trends that will have tremendous impact on the LED display industry,” said Peter Chan. ”The R6-B reflects our commitment to creating impact.”
