Musikmesse /ProLight+Sound Frankfurt from 28 to 31 March 2007

Frankfurt's International Musikmesse and prolight + sound end up with a total of 108,000 visitors out of 120 countries (2006: 102,000), an increase of six percent. Detlef Braun, Member of the Board of Management Messe Frankfurt GmbH, says: "The industry has seen the biggest Musikmesse and prolight+sound ever since. But it's not only the numeric sensation that counts - we are delighted to see that the topics and the outstanding programme of concerts, top acts, workshops and seminars met our visitors' and exhibitors' needs and expectations."
With around 38,000 visitors from abroad, both fairs reached a 35 percent degree of international participation. Besides Germany, it was European countries (Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Austria, Sweden, UK, Italy and Spain) who were primarily represented along with strong overseas nations such as the US, Japan, South Korea and Israel.
